May 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria-based insurance company DZI, part of Belgium's KBC Group, said on Tuesday it has opened its biggest claims centre in the country.
The company now operates two claims centres in the capital Sofia and a total of 86 in the country, DZI said in a statement.
In December, KBC Group said it had entered into a definitive agreement with National Bank of Greece (NBG) for the acquisition of United Bulgarian Bank (UBB) and local leasing company Interlease for a total consideration of 610 million euro ($681 million). Earlier in May, the Bulgarian central bank and the country's competition authority granted their approval of the deal.
