October 21 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's road infrastructure agency and a tie-up of local companies GP Group, Avtomagistrali - Cherno More and Patstroyengineering signed a 102 million lev ($59.2 million/52.2 million euro) contract for the construction of a stretch of the western leg of Sofia's ring road, the road infrastructure agency said on Wednesday.
The value of the contract for construction of the 5.3 kilometre road stretch includes value added tax, the road infrastructure agency said in a press release.
The project is co-funded by the EU's Cohesion Fund and the state budget.
The construction works will be supervised by another tie-up of local companies comprising Patconsult 2000, Rutex, Transconsult BG, and IRD Engineering.
