November 25 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's Road Infrastructure Agency said that it has awarded a 474.7 million levs ($267.3 million/242.7 million euro) contract to state-owned Avtomagistrali for carrying out landslide mitigation works on slopes next to a number of roads in the country.
The contract includes works on section of Trakia motorway, road I-3 - which is due to be superseded by Hemus motorway, road I-5 - which connects Bulgaria's borders with Romania and Greece, and a number of smaller roads, the government agency said in a statement.
The Road Infrastructure Agency did not provide further details in its statement.
