October 5 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's national company Strategicheski infrastrukturni proekti has awarded a 3.0 million levs ($1.5 million/1.7 million euro) contract for supervision of the design and construction of lot 3.3 of the country's Struma motorway to local company Patinvest - Engineering, a notice in the EU's procurement journal indicated.
Nine bids were filed in the tender for supervision of the design and construction of the 23.6 kilometre stretch, the notice in the Tenders Electronic Daily (TED) showed.
The value of the contract does not include value added tax.
The Struma motorway connects the capital Sofia with the Greek border. It is part of pan-European transport Corridor IV.
