July 23 (SeeNews) - Flag carrier Bulgaria Air said that it has extended to September 1 the suspension of its flights to Tel Aviv due to the coronavirus-related temporary restrictions imposed by the local authorities.
Last month, Bulgaria Air said that it will restart its service to Tel Aviv as of July 1 after saying it will restore it on June 13.
The airline's service to and from Lisbon in Portugal is suspended until August 20, while all flights to Moscow are banned by the Russian authorities until the end of this month, the company said in a statement earlier this week.
The carrier increased the frequency of its flights from the capital Sofia to Varna, on the Black Sea coast, to three per day as of June 11 and started flights on its summer route connecting the capital to the coastal city of Burgas on June 29.
Bulgaria Air continues to operate flights to the majority of its direct destinations at temporarily reduced frequencies, it said.
