September 13 (SeeNews) - Public natural gas supplier Bulgargaz on Monday projected that the price of wholesale natural gas for November would be 278.83 levs ($144.23/142.56 euro) per MWh - a decrease of 21.15% compared to the most recent price approved by the Bulgarian utilities regulator in September.
European spot market prices for November natural gas delivery stood at around 205 euro ($207.42) per MWh as of Monday, Bulgargaz said in a statement.
The definitive price request for November will be lodged on November 1, taking into account the values of price-forming components as of October 31, the state gas supplier added.
The wholesale natural gas price applicable for September was earlier this month endorsed by the state energy regulator at 353.63 levs per MWh, representing a monthly hike of 18.7%.
Although the forecast for November represents a drop compared to the current price, it is nevertheless 12.4% higher than the price of 247.96 levs that Bulgargaz last week proposed for October.
