September 13 (SeeNews) - Public gas supplier Bulgargaz expects that the price of natural gas in Bulgaria will increase to 84.39 levs ($50.8/43.1 euro) per MWh in November.
The price applicable in September is 69.40 levs per MWh.
The expected price for November was determined based on data as of September 10, Bulgargaz said in a statement published on Friday.
Bulgargaz will submit to the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) its final proposal for approval of the November natural gas price on November 1, it said.
The EWRC has the final say on the proposed changes in the wholesale price, at which the state-owned company sells natural gas to end-suppliers and customers directly connected to its transmission network.
In January-September, the Bulgargaz natural gas price was on theaverage over 18% lower than the average price on the European gas markets for the respective period, the company noted in its statement.
