June 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian public gas supplier Bulgargaz said on Thursday it has lodged a definitive request to the country's utilities regulator to approve a wholesale natural gas price applicable for June of 65.82 levs ($36.03/33.65 euro) per MWh.
The proposed price represents a 15% reduction on the price endorsed by the regulator in May, Bulgargaz said in a press release.
The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (EWRC) is due to announce later today the final amount of the approved wholesale price of natural gas for June.
In mid-May, Bulgargaz suggested an 11.5% monthly decrease in the wholesale natural gas price for the current month, lower than the initially forecast price of 74.59 levs per MWh.
