PODGORICA (Montenegro), April 2 (SeeNews) – Montenegrin hotel operator Budvanska rivijera [MNG:BUDR] generated the highest turnover on the Montenegrin stock exchange in March, as stock indices ended down, bourse data indicated.
The blue-chip index of the Montenegro Stock Exchange, MNSE10, closed March at 657.27 points, down 16.29% month-on-month.
The benchmark MONEX index, which tracks the 20 most representative shares on the Montenegro Stock Exchange, declined 10.88% in March and closed at 10,060.53 points.
The share price of none of the members of the MNSE10 index increased last month.
A total of 48,167 Budvanska rivijera shares changed hands in turnover of 289,774 euro in March. Budvanska rivijera closed down 16.48% at 6.016 euro.
Crnogorski Telekom [MNG:TECG] paced the blue-chip decliners in March, as its share price fell 26.39% on the month to 1.1318 euro. A total of 50,938 of the company's shares changed hands, generating a turnover of 57,649 euro.
Тhe bourse's total turnover rose in March to 1.5 million euro ($1.6 million) from 1.4 million euro a month earlier.
A total of 279 transactions were concluded on the bourse in Podgorica in March, versus 252 in February. Stock market capitalisation was 3.324 billion euro at the end of March, down from 3.440 billion euro a month earlier.
