December 21 (SeeNews) - Romanian stock indices mostly rose on Wednesday in higher turnover, bourse data indicated.
The total equity turnover of the BVB rose to 29.4 million lei ($6.7 million /6.5 million euro) from 23.5 million lei on Tuesday.

In regular trading, Romanian privately-owned medical services provider MedLife [BSE:M] traded at 26.6 lei in Wednesday's largest turnover of 12.9 million lei. Today was the first day of trading for MedLife, which listed through an initial public offering (IPO) of a 44% stake which generated some 230 million lei. The offering took place between December 7-15 on the BVB.
Blue-chip lender Banca Transilvania [BSE: TLV] gained 0.43% to 2.35 lei in the day's second largest turnover of 5.18 million lei.
Blue-chip oil and gas group OMV Petrom [BSE:SNP] stood to 0.2615 lei in the day's third-largest turnover of 2.33 million lei.
