November 16 (SeeNews) - Bucharest stock indices fell on Thursday in higher turnover, Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) data showed.
The total equity turnover of the BVB rose to 43.7 million lei ($11.1 million/9.4 million euro) from 41.37 million lei on Wednesday.
Lender Banca Transilvania [BSE:TLV] stood to 2.12 lei in Thursday’s largest turnover of 20.3 million lei.
BRD Societe Generale [BSE:BRD] rose 1.25% to 12.92 lei in the day’s second largest turnover of 6.69 million lei.
Romanian power supplier and distributor Electrica [BSE:EL] traded 2.10% lower to 12.14 lei in the day’s third largest turnover of 12.45 million lei.
Electrica said on Wednesday its consolidated net profit fell to 95 million lei in the first nine months of 2017 from 466 million lei in the year-ago period mainly due to higher prices at which it buys electricity.

BET-XT is a blue chip index and reflects the price evolution of the most liquid 25 shares traded on the regulated market, including the SIFs.
BET-XT-TR reflects the price performance of the top 25 most traded Romanian companies, as well as their gross dividends and cash distributions.
ROTX tracks Romania's nine most liquid stocks. It is a joint index of the Bucharest bourse and the Vienna Stock Exchange.
