August 25 (SeeNews) - Romanian stock indices rose again on Thursday amid lower turnover, bourse data indicated.
The bourse's total equity turnover fell to 16.7 million lei ($4.2 million/3.7 million euro) from 65.7 million lei on Wednesday. Wednesday's turnover was boosted by two block deals worth a combined 52.9 million lei with SIF 1 shares.
In regular trading, blue-chip investment fund Fondul Proprietatea [BSE:FP] closed 0.26% higher at 0.7850 lei in Thursday's largest turnover of 5.07 million lei.
Investment fund SIF Banat Crisana [BSE: SIF1] closed 1.24% higher at 1.6340 lei higher in the day's second-largest turnover of 2.49 million lei.
Blue chip lender Banca Transilvania [BSE:TLV] fell 0.63% to 2.3750 lei in the day's third-largest turnover of 1.57 lei.
