September 30 (SeeNews) - Romanian stock indices lost ground on Friday in higher turnover, bourse data indicated.
The bourse's total equity turnover rose to 31.5 million lei ($7.95 million /7.07 million euro) from 17.9 million lei on Thursday.
In regular trading, Blue-chip bank Banca Transilvania [BSE: TLV] closed 0.84% lower to 2.365 lei in Friday's largest turnover of 17.7 million lei.
Blue-chip natural gas producer Romgaz [BSE: SNG] fell 0.43% to 23.250 lei in the day's second-largest turnover of 2.6 million lei.
Blue-chip power distributor and supplier Electrica [BSE:EL] lost 0.58% to 11.12 lei in the day's third-largest turnover of 1.6 million lei.
