August 30 (SeeNews) - Romanian stock indices ended in the green on Tuesday in higher turnover, bourse data indicated.
The bourse's total equity turnover rose to 22 million lei ($5.5 million/4.9 million euro) from 7.24 million lei on Monday.
In regular trading, blue-chip natural gas producer Romgaz [BSE: SNG] closed 0.21% higher at 23.7 lei higher in Tuesday's largest turnover of 6.04 million lei.
Blue-chip power distributor and supplier Electrica [BSE:EL] lost 0.14% at 13.78 lei in the day's second-largest turnover of 4.65 million lei.
Blue chip lender BRD Societe Generale [BSE:BRD] rose 1.92% to 11.32 lei in the day's third-largest turnover of 4.2 lei.
