May 14 (SeeNews) - The share indices of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) continued to loose ground on Thursday, as restaurant operator Sphera Franchise Group [BSE:SFG] led blue-chip decliners, bourse data showed.
The total equity turnover of the BVB amounted to some 34.11 million lei ($7.7 million/7.1 million euro) on Thursday, compared to 33.7 million lei on Wednesday, BVB's website showed.
Sphera Franchise Group, the manager of KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell brands in Romania, led blue-chip decliners, as its share price fell by 2.61% to 14.9 lei.
Sphera swung to a 9.6 million lei net loss in the first quarter due to the coronavirus outbreak but focus on delivery and drive-thru lines helped the company limit the damage, it said on Thursday.
