June 13 (SeeNews) - Switzerland-based insurance and risk management company Brokerslink said it has expanded its network of affiliates in Central and Eastern Europe with the addition of four new insurers, including one covering Romania and Moldova, and one covering Bulgaria.
"We are thrilled to welcome four new Eastern European affiliates into our expanding network, particularly our first step into the Moldova region," Anne Collette, business development and partnerships director for Brokerslink, said in a press release on Monday.
The new affiliates in Southeast Europe (SEE) are Romanian insurer Destine and Bulgaria-based Instrade. Destine employs 50 insurance professionals and over 8,000 brokerage assistants, offering services in auto, life, health and home insurance.
Instrade is a regional leader in custom risk management and insurance solutions for individual and business clients, Brokerslink said. Active since since 1995, it specialises in liabilities, construction all risks (CAR), industrial risks and property, cargo risks, bonds and health insurance.
Brokerslink also added to its affiliate network Budapest-based HUNInsurance, part of local Hungarikum Alkusz Group, and Czech peer Satum, which also has offices in Slovakia and is a market leader in the domestic transport and logistics insurance market.
Brokerslink has partners and affiliates in 132 countries. In the SEE region, it has partnered with InterCapital Risk in Croatia, Daes London Market Insurance Brokers in Greece, JDB Broker in North Macedonia and AGD in Slovenia. In March, the Switzerland-based broking business added Montenegro-based Insurance Financial Solutions to its affiliate network.
