April 27 (SeeNews) - British low-cost airline Jet2.com announced that it will add new destinations to the Bulgarian coastal city of Burgas - from Belfast, Birmingham, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds Bradford and Newcastle, starting from May next year.
"From May 2019, we will operate flights to Bourgas (Bulgaria), with almost 100,000 seats on sale in our first year of operation. This brand new destination offers great value for money as well as miles of golden sands along the Black Sea," Jet2.com said in a statement on Thursday.
Burgas airport is a gateway to the resorts on Bulgaria's southern Black Sea coast. Passenger traffic at Burgas airport increased 3.6% year-on-year to 2.98 million in 2017.
