SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), January 4 (SeeNews) – Bosnian textile company Willona has signed a deal with a group of British businessmen for exports of military uniforms to the UK, the local government of Kakanj municipality said.
"A relationship was established and an agreement for 2018 signed for the export of military and personal protective equipment for the military industry in the UK", the municipal government of Kakanj said in a statement.
The UK businessmen are also mulling investing in Willona and expanding its production capacities, the local government noted, adding that they are due to return to the Kakanj-based company in the second quarter.
The municipal government gave no further details.
Willona is the legal successor of the successful Kakanj textile firm Meteortex. Kakanj is an industrial town and a municipality in central Bosnia and Herzegovina, located southeast of Zenica.
