SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), November 23 (SeeNews) – Bosnia’s Vakufska Banka [SAJ:VKFBR] said it completed the conversion of 756,104 preference shares into ordinary stock.
The ordinary shares have a nominal price of 37.5 marka ($21.8/19.2 euro) apiece, Vakufska Banka said in a filing to the Sarajevo Stock Exchange on Thursday.
Local tobacco firm Fabrika Duhana Sarajevo (FDS) is majority owner of Vakufska Banka with a stake of 73.2%. In late 2016 Austria's CID Adriatic Investments GmbH (CID) raised its stake in FDS to 78.8%. In January 2017, it sold the tobacco part of the business to British American Tobacco (BAT), while keeping the company's non-tobacco assets.
