SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), April 20 (SeeNews) – UniCredit Bank Mostar [SAJ:ZGBMR], a unit of Italy's UniCredit Group, said on Monday its net profit rose by 12% year-on-year to 108 million marka ($60.0 million/55.2 million euro) in 2019.
Net interest income decreased by 2.4% on the year to 162.1 million marka in 2019, while net fee and commission income rose to 84.4 million marka from 83.2 million marka, the bank said in a statement filed with the Sarajevo Stock Exchange (SASE).
At the end of December, the net assets of UniCredit Bank Mostar totalled 7.6 billion marka, compared to 7.3 billion marka at the end of 2018.
The company's shares last traded on November 6, 2019, on SASE, closing unchanged at 6,800 marka.
UniCredit Bank Mostar is based in the Federation, one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia. UniCredit Group has another bank in Bosnia, UniCredit Bank Banja Luka, headquartered in the other entity - the Serb Republic.
