SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), January 7 (SeeNews) – Passenger numbers at Bosnia's Tuzla International Airport rose to 592,374 in 2019, compared to 584,610 passengers recorded in the year before, according to data issued by the airport operator.
In December alone, passenger traffic added 3.7% on the year and was 15% higher on the month, reaching 40,918, figures posted on the website of Tuzla Airport show.
Over the last nine years - 2011 through 2019 - Tuzla Airport welcomed 2,504,636 passengers.
In 2018, passenger traffic rose 9.2% to 584,610.
Tuzla is based in the Federation, one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
