SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), October 31 (SeeNews) – Passenger numbers at Bosnia's Tuzla International Airport edged down to 461,944 in the first nine months of 2019 from 464,254 in the like period last year, according to data issued by the airport operator.
In September alone, passenger traffic rose 0.6% on the year but was 15.5% lower on the month, reaching 56,412, figures posted on the website of Tuzla Airport show.
Over the last eight years, from 2011 to the end of 2018, Tuzla Airport welcomed 1,912,262 passengers. In 2018, passenger traffic rose 9.2% to 584,610.
Tuzla is based in the Federation, one of the two autonomous entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Serb Republic.
