May 18 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's Telekom Srpske [BANJ:TLKM-R-A], operating under the name Mtel, said on Thursday it has established a new company for wireless telecommunications.
The new company, named Sky Towers Infrastructure, is based in Banja Luka, Telekom Srpske said in a bourse filing.
No further details were provided.
Telekom Srpske, majority-owned by Telekom Srbija, has clients mainly in the Serb Republic entity, which forms Bosnia and Herzegovina together with the Federation entity.
Telekom Srpske's shares closed flat at 1.65 marka ($0.91/0.84 euro) on the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE) on Thursday.
Bosnia, a country of some 3.5 million people, has two more major telecommunication companies, both state-controlled - HT Mostar and BH Telecom.
