November 1 (SeeNews) - Bosnia’s Telekom Srpske [BANJ:TLKM-R-A] said on Tuesday that its net profit rose 19.8% year-on-year in the first nine months of 2022, reaching 60.1 million marka ($30.5 million/30.7 million euro).
Total operating income added 6.4% on the year to 344.6 million marka in the January-September period, while operating costs increased 3.8% to 270.8 million marka, Telekom Srpske said in an interim financial statement filed with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE).
Shares of Telekom Srpske traded 2.58% higher at 1.59 marka on the BLSE by 11:17 CET on Tuesday.
Telekom Srpske, majority-owned by Serbian state-controlled Telekom Srbija, has customers mainly in the Serb Republic, one of Bosnia's two constituent entities. The other entity is the Federation.
Bosnia, a country of 3.3 million, has two other telecommunications companies, both based in the Federation - BH Telecom and HT Mostar.
