November 1 (SeeNews) - Bosnia’s Telekom Srpske [BANJ:TLKM-R-A] said on Wednesday its consolidated net profit fell 10.6% on the year to 45.9 million marka ($27.3 million/23.5 million euro) in the first nine months of 2017.
Total consolidated operating income dropped 3.6% in the nine months through September to 332.7 million marka, of which 321.6 million marka was raised from the sale of goods and services, down 4.9% on the year, Telekom Srpske said in a consolidated financial statement filed with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange.
The company's total consolidated operating expenses fell to 284.1 million marka from 289.0 million marka a year earlier.
Telekom Srpske is the second-largest telecommunications company in Bosnia. It is majority-owned by Serbian state-controlled Telekom Srbija and has clients mainly in Bosnia’s Serb Republic entity, which forms Bosnia together with the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Bosnia, a country of some 3.5 million, has two other telecommunications companies, both state-controlled, which operate in the Federation: HT Mostar and BH Telecom.
