June 2 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's Serb Republic said it has discussed with France's Vinci Airports a potential public-private partnership (PPP) for the further development of the international airport in Banja Luka.
Vinci Airports and the Serb Republic government discussed a potential concession agreement for the Banja Luka airport, the government of the Serb Republic said in a press release on Thursday.
No further details were provided in the press release.
The Banja Luka airport handled 46,997 passengers in April, up from 31,243 in the same month a year earlier, according to latest data from Bosnia's Civil Aviation Directorate.
Vinci Airports operates 53 airports in 12 countries worldwide, including the Belgrade Nikola Tesla airport in Serbia's capital.
