SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), January 23 (SeeNews) – The trade deficit of Bosnia's Serb Republic decreased by 20.3% on the year to 1.2 billion marka ($668.8 million/602.9 million euro) at the end of December, the entity's statistical office said.
Exports fell by an annual 3.8% to 3.6 billion marka in the period under review, while imports declined 8.5% to 4.9 billion marka, the Serb Republic's Institute of Statistics said in a monthly trade report on Wednesday.
The entity's largest trading partner in the January-December period was Serbia with a share of 16.5% of total trade turnover, followed by Italy with 15.3% and Germany with 9.3%.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
