January 17 (SeeNews) - The tax administration of Bosnia's Serb Republic said on Friday it has collected 2.5 billion marka ($1.4 billion/1.3 billion euro) in taxes in 2019, up 2% compared to a year earlier.
Revenue from direct taxes fell 4% on the year to 473.4 million marka last year, the entity's tax office said in a statement.
Revenue from contributions rose 4% to 1.6 billion marka in the period under review on the back of higher contributions to the state-run pension and health insurance funds.
The Serb Republic is one of two entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
