SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), March 20 (SeeNews) – The finance ministry of Bosnia's Serb Republic said on Tuesday it signed a 51.3 million euro ($63.0 million) loan agreement with the World Bank to finance a project for restructuring of the entity's railways operator.
The loan repayment period is 32 years, including a seven year grace, the finance ministry said in a statement.
The aim of the project is to improve the operational efficiency and financial sustainability of the Serb Republic's railway operator, Zeljeznice Republike Srpske.
The Serb Republic is one of the two entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other is the Federation.
