BANJA LUKA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), March 2 (SeeNews) – Bosnia's Sberbank a.d. Banja Luka [BANJ:ZPKB-R-A], a unit of Austria-based Sberbank Europe, said on Monday its net profit rose to 3.5 million marka ($2 million/1.8 million euro) in 2014 from 2.6 million marka a year earlier.
Net interest income climbed 18% to 22.6 million marka in 2014, while net fee and commission income increased to 11.7 million marka from 9.2 million, Sberbank a.d. Banja Luka said in its financial statement sent to the Banja Luka Stock Exchange.
The bank's net assets totalled 1.09 billion marka at the end of December.
Sberbank a.d. Banja Luka is based in the Serb Republic, one of the two entities that make up Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other is the Muslim-Croat Federation, where Sberbank Europe, has another unit, Sberbank BH.
