October 22 (SeeNews) - The average net monthly salary in Bosnia's Serb Republic increased by a real 2.7% year-on-year in September, reaching 909 marka ($518/464 euro), the entity's statistical office said on Tuesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the net salary in the Serb Republic decreased by 0.8% in real terms in September, after edging up 0.2% a month earlier, the Serb Republic's Institute of Statistics said in a monthly report.
In nominal terms, September's net monthly pay was 3.1% higher year-on-year and 0.2% lower month-on-month.
The average gross monthly salary in the Serb Republic amounted to 1,411 marka in September.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
