SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), November 6 (SeeNews) – Zeljeznice Republike Srpske [BANJ:ZERS-R-A], the railway operator of Bosnia's Serb Republic entity, said on Wednesday it swung to a net profit of 4.1 million marka ($2.3 million/2.1 million euro) in the first nine months of 2019, from a 7.5 million marka loss a year earlier.
Operating revenue rose 35.3% to 64 million marka in January-September, while operating costs fell to 50.2 million marka from 52.8 million marka in the like period last year, the railway operator said in a filing to the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE).
The company's total assets edged down to 630.4 million marka in the review period, from 633.7 million marka a year earlier.
Zeljeznice Republike Srpske's shares closed at 122.9 marka on Tuesday on the BLSE, unchanged from Monday's close. The shares did not trade by 1300 CET on Wednesday.
