March 10 (SeeNews) - Zeljeznice Republike Srpske [BANJ:ZERS-R-A], the railway operator of Bosnia's Serb Republic, said on Friday its net loss narrowed to 29.9 million marka ($16.2 million/15.3 million euro) in 2016 from 34.2 million marka a year earlier.
Operating income dropped by an annual 9.5% to 64.4 million marka last year, while operating costs shrank 6.7% to 80.6 million marka, Zeljeznice RS said in a financial statement sent to the Banja Luka Stock Exchange.
The Serb Republic and the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina are the two autonomous parts that make up Bosnia. Zeljeznice Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine is the railway company of the Federation.
