SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), March 24 (SeeNews) – The trade deficit of Bosnia's Serb Republic increased by 42% on the year to 154.05 million marka ($85.4 million/78.8 million euro) at the end of February, the entity's statistical office said.
Exports fell by an annual 4.6% to 537.5 million marka in the January-February period, while imports grew 2.9% to 691.5 million marka, the Serb Republic's Institute of Statistics said in a monthly trade report on Monday.
The entity's largest tradе partner in the first two months of 2020 was Italy with a share of 14.3% of total trade turnover, followed by Serbia with 14.1% and Germany with 10.4%.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
