BANJA LUKA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), September 23 (SeeNews) – The trade deficit of Bosnia's Serb Republic for the first eight months of 2016 decreased 17.2% on the year to 985.8 million marka ($504 million/564.4 million euro), the entity's statistics office has said.
Exports increased by an annual 8.2% to 1.8 billion marka through August, while imports declined 2.3% to 2.8 billion marka, the Serb Republic's statistics office said in a statement on Thursday.
The entity's largest trading partner in the eight-month period of 2016 was Serbia with a share of 15.7%, followed by Italy with 14.6% and Germany with 9.4%.
The Serb Republic and the Muslim-Croat Federation are the two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina.
