SARAJEVO (Bosnia and Herzegovina), May 26 (SeeNews) – The trade deficit of Bosnia's Serb Republic decreased by 15.9% year-on-year in the first four months of 2021, to 228.2 million marka ($142.6 million/116.7 million euro), the entity's statistical office said.
Exports increased by an annual 24.9% in January-April, reaching 1.3 billion marka, while imports added 14.8% to 1.6 billion marka , the Serb Republic's Institute of Statistics said in a monthly report on Monday.
The entity's largest trade partner in the period under review was Serbia with a share of 16.3% of total trade turnover, followed by Italy with 14.8% and Croatia with 10.3%.
Bosnia's Serb Republic trade deficit fell by 7.4% to 1.1 billion marka in 2020.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
