July 16 (SeeNews) - The interior ministry of Bosnia's Serb Republic has announced a tender for the procurement of 110 traffic radars with accessories worth a total of 10.2 million marka ($5.9 million/5.2 million euro), local media reported.
The ministry will purchase 100 stationary and 10 mobile radars plus servers, memory, computers, monitors and software, business news portal eKapija.com reported on Monday.
The interior ministry should pay for the equipment in 20 equal quarterly instalments. The price includes the installation and commissioning of the equipment.
The deadline for submitting bids is August 27.
According to a decision from June 4, published on the ministry's website, the ministry plans to sign a framework agreement for the supply of traffic radars in the third quarter of 2019.
The decision also said that the interior ministry plans to buy three helicopters for 42.2 million marka. The ministry planned to launch a tender for the supply of helicopters in the second quarter and to sign a preliminary agreement in the third.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous regions forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
