September 22 (SeeNews) - The number of construction permits issued in Bosnia's Serb Republic totalled 140 in August, up 41.4% on the year, the entity's statistical office said on Friday.
The number of permits issued for residential and non-residential buildings rose by 5.4% in annual terms to 78 in August, whereas the number of permits for civil engineering projects increased by 148% to 62 ones, the Institute of Statistics of the Serb Republic said in a monthly report.
The number of permits issued for dwellings fell by 53.6% in annual terms to 242 in August.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
