August 27 (SeeNews) - The transport ministry of Bosnia's Serb Republic said it has awarded a 30-year concession contract to local company Brcko Gas to build and operate a service station at the Banja Luka-Doboj motorway.
Under the contract, Brcko Gas will built petrol stations along with shops and restaurants on both sides of the Brkic Voda location at the Banja Luka-Doboj motorway, the ministry said in a statement last week.
The concessionaire will pay a one-off fee of 97,000 marka ($55,000/50,000 euro) plus an yearly fee equal to 2% of annual revenue.
Brcko Gas has several petrol stations as well as oil terminal capacity of 6,000 tonnes. It is active in the retail and wholesale of oil products, as well as in their domestic and international transportation.
Banja Luka-Doboj is a toll motorway 76 km in length located in the Serb Republic, one of Bosnia's two constituent entities. The other entity is the Federation.
