September 22 (SeeNews) - The average net monthly wage in Bosnia's Serb Republic stood at 1,286 marka ($701/658 euro) in August, up by 4.1% on the year in real terms, the entity's statistical office said on Friday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the net wage was 0.5% lower in real terms in August, the Serb Republic's Institute of Statistics said in a statement.
The average gross monthly salary in the entity amounted to 1,954 marka in August, up 0.6% in nominal terms and lower by 0.5% in real terms compared to July.
The average net monthly wage in the Serb Republic reached 1,144 marka last year and was higher by a real 1.1% on the year.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
