April 29 (SeeNews) - The average net monthly wage in Bosnia's Serb Republic increased by a real 2.2% year-on-year in March, reaching 1,091 marka ($589/558 euro), the entity's statistical office said.
On a monthly comparison basis, the net wage was 2.5% lower in real terms in March, the Serb Republic's Institute of Statistics said in a statement on Tuesday.
The average gross monthly wage in the entity amounted to 1,642 marka in March.
The average net monthly wage in the Serb Republic rose by a real 3.2% last year reaching 1,004 marka.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
