June 22 (SeeNews) - The average net monthly wage in Bosnia's Serb Republic fell by a real 0.5% year-on-year in May, reaching 1,105 marka ($597/565 euro), the entity's statistical office said on Wednesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the net wage was 0.5% lower in real terms in May, the Serb Republic's Institute of Statistics said in a statement.
The average gross monthly wage in the entity amounted to 1,667 marka in May.
The average net monthly wage in the Serb Republic rose by a real 3.2% last year reaching 1,004 marka.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
