September 22 (SeeNews) - Consumer prices in Bosnia's Serb Republic rose by 5.9% on the year in August, after increasing by 5.2% in July, the entity's statistical office said on Tuesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, consumer prices in the Serb Republic increased 1.1% in August, after they edged down 0.1% in July, the entity's statistical office said in a monthly inflation report.
In annual terms, prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages went up 8.3%, while prices of housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels soared 15.3% in August.
Consumer prices in Bosnia's Serb Republic rose by 12.7% on average last year, compared to an increase of 1.7% in 2021.
