February 6 (SeeNews) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's Sarajevo International Airport served 61,068 passengers in January, compared with 56,521 served in the same month a year earlier, data by the airport operator showed.
Compared with the previous month, passenger numbers at the airport decreased 8.9% in January, according to figures posted on the website of Sarajevo Airport on Friday.
Aircraft take-offs and landings at Sarajevo airport totalled 809 in January 2023, down from 837 in January 2022.
Passenger numbers at the Sarajevo International Airport surged to 1.38 million in 2022, compared with 767,134 passengers served a year earlier.
Bosnia and Herzegovina has three other international airports, located in Banja Luka, Tuzla and Mostar.
