March 15 (SeeNews) - Bosnian coal mining and energy company RiTE Gacko [BANJ:RITE-R-A] said its net profit decreased to 543,404 marka ($305,500/277,800 euro) in 2021, from 1.3 million marka made the year before.
Operating income edged down 0.3% on the year to 127.6 million marka in 2021, while operating costs rose 3.8% to 131.4 million marka, RiTE Gacko said in a filing with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange (BLSE) on Monday.
RiTE Gacko is located in the southern part of the Serb Republic, one of Bosnia's two entities. The other one is the Federation.
The Gacko power plant is one of the two coal-fired power plants operating in the Serb Republic. The other plant is part of the Ugljevik coal mining and power generation company located in northeastern Bosnia.
The company's shares last traded on the BLSE on March 3, closing 3.03% higher at 0.034 marka.
