BANJA LUKA (Bosnia and Herzegovina), July 30 (SeeNews) – Bosnian oil refinery Rafinerija Nafte Brod [BANJ:RNAF-R-A] said on Tuesday its net loss soared to 55.8 million marka ($31.8 million/28.5 million euro) in the first half of 2019, from 6.1 million marka a year earlier.
Operating revenues plummeted 93.4% on the year to 2.4 million marka in the first six months, while operating costs dropped to 26.6 million marka from 35.8 million marka, the company said in a financial report filed with the Banja Luka Stock Exchange.
Rafinerija Nafte, based in Brod in the northwestern part of Bosnia’s Serb Republic, is majority-owned by Russia's NeftegasInCor.
The Serb Republic is one of the two autonomous parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
