July 3 (SeeNews) - Bosnian car parts manufacturer Prevent BH said on Tuesday it is changing its name to Prevent CEE to reflect its presence in several countries in Central and Eastern Europe and its growing business activities.
"Under the new name, Prevent CEE will continue with its leading principles, constant strategic development and dedication to development and growth with its various partners and various sectors and countries", the company, a member of the Prevent Group, said in a statement.
By introducing the slogan "Next to You," Prevent is going a step further in positioning itself in the market, pointing to its geo-strategic position and its proximity to manufacturing locations in the EU, it noted.
Prevent Group was founded by Bosnian national Nijaz Hastor with offices in Bosnia and Germany's Wolfsburg. In addition to these two countries, Prevent is also present in Croatia, Slovenia, Romania, Hungary and Austria, employs over 10,000 people in the region.
Prevent is the largest private company in Bosnia, employing 6500 people at 15 production sites.
