November 26 (SeeNews) - Bosnia’s Serb Republic postal service operator Poste Srpske [BANJ:POST] plans to invest 19 million marka ($10.9 million/9.7 million euro) in the acquisition or construction of a new sorting centre, it said.
The postal service operator will fund the new centre through a loan, it said in its 2022-2024 investment plan filed with Banja Luka bourse on Thursday.
Poste Srpske's shareholders will vote on the proposed investment plan at a meeting on December 13.
The company plans to invest a total of 31.3 million marka in capacity upgrades by 2024. Apart from the new sorting centre, most of the investments will focus on reconstruction of facilities, according to the plan.
The company’s shares last traded on the BLSE on September 6, closing 1.56% higher at 0.065 marka.
The Serb Republic is one of two autonomous entities forming Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other one is the Federation.
