March 31 (SeeNews) - Bosnia's net electricity production declined to 1,438 GWh in January from 1,569 GWh in the same month of 2022, the country's statistical office said.
Electricity output in January was higher than in December, when it totalled 1,416 GWh, the country's statistical office said on Wednesday.
Electricity imports rose to 344 GWh in January from 225 GWh in the same month of 2022, whereas exports went up to 684 GWh from 670 GWh.
Compared to the previous month, electricity imports in January fell 17%, while exports declined 4.5%.
Electricity made available to the domestic market stood at 1,098 GWh in January, down from 1,116 GWh in December, and lower than 1,124 GWh in January 2022.
