February 18 (SeeNews) - The city council of Bosnia's Mostar said it decided to borrow 5 million euro ($5.7 million) from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to finance the rehabilitation of the Uborak-Budevci waste landfill.
The project includes the construction of a leachate treatment plant at the landfill site, the city council of Mostar said in a statement earlier this week.
The project is expected to extend the life of the landfill and ensure sanitary waste disposal for the city of Mostar until 2027, the city council said.
